Walther Grade School Instrumental Program

Walther's long-running grade school program eliminates the hassle of running around to lessons after school or on the weekends. Walther instructors come to Trinity Lutheran School and work with your child's classroom teacher to find the best time for lessons during the school day (some remote learning options may be available). Professionally trained musicians with advanced degrees lead your student through instrumental basics, and steadily advanced techniques, teaching them to read and interpret music. The programs offer optional extended experiences to work in a weekly, larger setting via Monday Night Band and Monday Night Wind Ensemble, both on Walther's campus. Concerts and recitals bring students from over a dozen area grade schools together to perform and experience a biennial Music Festival.
