I attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Addison and then went to Addison Trail High School. I graduated from Carthage College in 1976.  I began my teaching career at Trinity in 1977 as a kindergarten teacher. The following year I moved to teach 3rd and 4th grade and taught that until 2018, when I started teaching 5th and 6th grades. When school began in 2020, I returned to teaching 3rd and 4th grade, and have directed the children’s handbell choir. My favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who gives me strength."
