Born and raised in Galesburg, IL, Kevin McOlgan received the B.M. Degree from Northern Illinois University and the Master of Music Degree from The University of Michigan School of Music. Kevin taught grades 4-8 band at Laraway School in Joliet. While there, he was named a Chicagoland Outstanding Music Educator. In 1995, he began a 20-year career at Riverside Brookfield High School, where he built a comprehensive music program including band, choir, orchestra, and AP Music Theory. Kevin serves as piano accompanist at Grace United Methodist Church in Joliet, and teaches piano, saxophone, and clarinet privately from his home in Forest Park. Kevin  enjoys teaching piano lessons for students at Trinity, where many staff members have been welcoming and have shown interest in the music education of these wonderful young musicians!
