5th & 6th Grade

Mrs. Curelo joined Trinity's teaching staff in the fall of 2025. She is a lifelong resident of Chicago's western suburbs and attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Brookfield, IL. Mrs. Curelo attended Concordia University in River Forest and Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights. She has taught at Faith Lutheran Jr./Sr. High in Las Vegas (Nevada),  St. Paul/Brookfield, St. Andrew/Chicago, Walther Christian Academy/Melrose Park, and St. John/LaGrange.  She continues to serve our Lord through her involvements in church youth groups, Vacation Bible Schools, church choirs, and Altar Guilds. 

Mrs. Curelo enjoys music, gardening, reading, singing, cooking, collecting magnets and ornaments from travel adventures, and visiting with friends and family. She has two children and lives in Brookfield; her daughter, Maria, attends the University of Illinois at Champaign, and son, James, is active in the U.S. Navy.

Mrs. Curelo is very thankful to be teaching at a place where the Word of Christ is allowed to richly dwell in us and be taught/modeled for the children entrusted to our care.
