Journalism
My vocation is in the media, where I’ve been blessed to work in radio, news, and public relations. I’ve been teaching journalism to Trinity’s middle school students since Fall 2017. A key classroom goal is to help the children in my class understand that their faith can impact how they perform their daily tasks, and the way that they approach the world – whether they are reporting the news, detailing cars, or raising the next generation. Together we create Trinity’s monthly school newsletter, design the yearbook, and livestream chapel. We acquire basic journalism skills and engage in a lot of writing. What a joy it is to be part of a loving, caring, school team that daily shares Jesus’ love and works hard to remind the students, parents, and families that at Trinity – you are truly family. My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
